Jeff Stover is a Riverside native and a professional bass player.  Since 1984, he has played with many acts in the Southern California and around the country such as Frankie Avalon, The Smothers Brothers, Tommy Tune, Jerry Vail, The Ink Spots, The Radio City Rocketts, Phyllis Diller, Bobby Vinton, Susan Anton, Debbie Gibson, Mac Davis, Bob Hope, Bob Crosby, Vic Damone, Frankie Randall, Charlie Pride, The Mills Brothers, Dick Contino, and George Burns.  He has performed at special events for four Presidents of the United States: Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George Bush, and Bill Clinton.  He has played bass on over 60 Broadway style musical theater productions and tours such as Evita, Tommy, The Wiz, Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Brigidoon, The Sound of Music, The Scarlet Letter, 42nd Street, Fiddler on the Roof, Grease, Best Little Whore House in Texas, South Pacific, The Secret Garden, The Will Roger Follies, Jesus Christ Super Star, Hair, Grand Hotel, Crazy For You, Anything Goes, Eating Raoul, Little Shop Of Horrors, Hello Dolly, Caberet, Sugar Babies, The Mikado, Nunsense, Annie Get your Gun, Sweeny Todd, 1776, Guys And Dolls, and many others.

Jeff wrote The Bass Players Book Volumes 1 and 2, which are bass method instruction books for the electric and acoustic bass, as well as Bass Duets and The Rhythm Book, all published by Stover Engineering.
 
Jeff teaches bass at UCR, Riverside Community College, and College of the Desert.  He also offers private instruction at his home studio as well at several music stores in the Southern California area.
