French Hornist and lecturer in brass and music fundamentals, Mrs. Lamprey brings many years of experience in teaching and performing to the UC Riverside campus. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music (B.M.) and Bowling Green State University (M.M.), she has spent many years teaching, first in the public schools and later at Bowling Green and Heidelberg Collge in Ohio, Cal State Dominguiz Hills, Cal State San Bernardino, Cal Poly Pomona, California Baptist University and Azusa Pacific University. In addition to her classes at Cal Poly Pomona and UC Riverside, Mrs Lamprey has a private French horn studio in her home.  

As a performing musician, Mrs. Lamprey is a tenured member of the Redlands Symphony, San Bernardino Symphony and the Riverside Philharmonic, all fully professional orchestras. In addition she regularly plays chamber music with various other performers.  

In her leisure, Mrs. Lamprey enjoys reading, playing with her two dogs, riding her horse and being entertained by her grandchildren.
